luna blue studio: Rockstar for the night...Best In River performs {Fontana's Bar NYC}

It was a Friday night and I was exhausted from a full days work. I knew my night was NOWHERE near over and in some weird way, I was highly pumped about that.

Now normally, C and I would spend Friday nights with our pups, lounging on the couch watching crappy tv shows. And that would be just perfection for us. But tonight, we were off to Fontana's Bar in Manhattan for some good, old fashioned rock and roll. Ok, so a band that takes pop songs by artists like Lady Gaga and turns them into some serious punk rock wouldn't necessarily be called "old fashioned" but for all intensive purposes, we were prepared to rock our faces off... and that, my friends, we did..

Best In River is an NYC based band that merges new school pop with hard hitting punk rock. It's a twisted marriage, but man it works so well. You can't help but rage when you hear them... even with my camera in hand, I was jumping and singing!

Drummer, Chris Peterson says (when asked to describe the band)- "Stanger on guitar, Stu singing, Myles on bass and me. About us? Ummm hahah. We are a couple dudes just drinking some beers, rocking out and trying to relive the glory days of being in real bands." 'Nuff said...
